Utopiverse

Mirari designed the visual environment created from generative content for the National Ballet of Canada’s Utopiverse show.

UtopiVerse (2024) is a multimedia contemporary ballet choreographed by William Yong for the National Ballet of Canada. It explores themes of human evolution, the pursuit of perfection, and how personal utopias can become dystopian. Inspired partly by Paradise Lost, it features a futuristic set, intricate video projections, and a score based on Benjamin Britten’s music.
