Echo is an interactive installation which transforms words and sounds into waves and pulses of light

The installation uses simple yet powerful technology to facilitate genuine human connections by transforming sound into traveling light pulses, with the installation’s ability to make strangers connect and converse creating encounters that wouldn’t have occurred otherwise while addressing fundamental questions about communication and human contact. The intuitive interaction design exemplifies sophisticated engineering presented in an accessible, elegant form, demonstrating exceptional design thinking through its balance of technical complexity and user simplicity. Echo doesn’t just occupy public space – it transforms it by creating unexpected, engaging experiences that blend art, technology, and human interaction.
