Choir is an immersive installation created by Sylvain Émard and Mirari, placing viewers at the heart of dance. Surrounded by a 30-foot-diameter, 360-degree screen, the audience observes 12 dancers moving in a circular wave. Layered sounds amplify reality: footsteps, breathing, and music blend seamlessly, drawing visitors into the very essence of the piece, into the intimacy of the performance. Amplified sounds, paired with life-sized performers, create a hypnotic state as the ritual of dance unfolds around them. Choir invites the audience to experience dance in an entirely new way.
